From AI Assistants to Brazilian Beaches

Tools for automation and a taste of João Pessoa

Hey there,

Welcome to the very first edition of your new favorite newsletter! This week, I’m diving into content automation, tools that simplify your workflow, and a spotlight on an incredible place to work from—João Pessoa, Brazil.

Tips

Want to put an end to doomscrolling through news articles? Here’s a workflow that’ll make you feel like you have a personal assistant curating the most relevant news for you: RSS feeds from Inoreader collect articles, ChatGPT summarizes them, and an automated system grades their relevance – all organized neatly into Airtable. I use this daily to help save me time and find the most relevant articles for this newsletter. Curious how to set it up? Reply to this and I can help get it up and running on your machine.

Tools

Beehiiv takes the newsletter creation from complex to a straightforward process. This platform handles everything from slick email design to detailed analytics, perfect for someone just starting out or if you’re ready to scale. It has some more advanced growth tools and monetization features that can help you go from a passion project to a legitimate revenue stream. Beehiiv is what transformed this newsletter into what you're reading now. I went from having a really basic email to using their design tools to build out a website and an entire theme dedicated to this newsletter.

Articles & News

The AI Assistant Claude.AI just released a new feature “Computer Use” that is equally terrifying as it is awesome. This new release gives you the ability to prompt Claude to use your computer the same way you would. For example, instead of asking the magic box questions like “Why is this SQL query not working?” you can now ask it things like “Correct the SQL errors in my application and rerun it.” Which might not sound like much now, but pretty soon having this kind of AI assistant could remove a lot of tedious work from your life.
